Megan's Meadow*

Based on the success of the 99k House competition for a low cost sustainable and flexible house, this Habitat for Humanity project design is designed around a collective wetland for water infiltration onsite.   Sustainable home features include: passive heating and cooling, highly insulated building envelopes, rainwater collection, and the minimal use of impervious surfaces to allow maximum water infiltration given the wet Pacific Northwest climate.
