Part of a three hangar complex, HF is one part museum and one part functioning hangar for a collection of vintage aircraft at Paine Field. Drawing on the historic Quonset Hut shape, the hangar design pushes prefabricated steel technologies and elevates the utilitarian Quonset Hut through the extensive use of glass and steel detailing.  The museum houses a 50 person theater, a cafe with a runway viewing platform and a restoration center.  Currently the museum is housed at Kilo 6, one of the adjacent hangars, where steel detailing evokes the precision and craft of the vintage aircraft collection.
